"I loved reading Yare Cruising! Paula's Maritime Adventures. This book is appealing to both children and adults. As an adult, my knowledge of boats, water safety and nautical terminology is very limited. I am using this book as my primer to learn some of the terms.

The story was fun. I particularly enjoyed how the Coast Guard was included as part of the story. It really gives a good understanding of theri many areas of responsibility. The pictures were excellent!! Having seen some of the Coast Guard ships first hand, I was surprised to see how realistic and detailed the pictures are.

If my children were still young, this book would be one of our regular bedtime stories!"

Many thanks for a great day! I know the students really enjoyed it and that modelling clay artwork table you had in your van! Wow!!!! What an amazing piece of artwork!! I took our principal out to see it and he was amazed.

You relate very well with the students. I have had students who otherwise are anxious to get outside for recess, work right through recess and remain entirely focused! Many students feel it is the fastest afternoon they've had all year.

They did have a great time and are genuinely proud of their work. Adding the texture gave many of the pictures a new dimension which really made them look great.

Anyway, thanks for a wonderful day. I am sure it is the highlight of their year. I sometimes have students I meet on yard duty from previous years and they still talk about it! What a memorable experience! Thanks again!

Many people do many things, I have seen and talked to many artists from all different places. All having great talent but none having more talent than Anne-Marie whom I met recently. She not only has talent but she is a woman that has a vision, as most artists do.

I couldn't believe it myself when I saw these beautiful art pieces, I never thought that modelling clay art could go so far. But Anne-Marie's talent of how modelling clay art can make a difference in one's life and the sky is the limit, it's not just about talent but its about healing, caring and being able to build something that only you can build and only you can vision.

I am so glad that I have had an opportunity to sit with Anne-Marie and learn how to do modelling clay art. It was so relaxing and enjoyable, I can't wait to see what my next picture will be. You have not heard from us before because we decided to practice what we learned from "Yare Cruising!" in beautiful Muskoka last week.

We spent 4 days in Toronto for a medical meeting and 3 days at the Cleveland House. It was a wonderful experience.

We especially liked the picture on the card of the little girl reading the book. We had a great time on the afternoon that you came to our class. We learned a lot about how to make a plasticine picture but we realized that it would take a lot of practice before we could be as good at it as you are. Rachael liked the groundhog and Alex liked the flowers.
